Torben Galst
Torben Galst is an international shipping and logistics expert with more than 25 years experience from the containerised transportation industry.
Torben specialises in business and commercial strategy. He brings unique insights into customers and markets, and understands the complexities in aligning assets, people and processes around the customer.
During his career Torben has held corporate leadership positions across Sales & Marketing, Trade and General Management. He has held P&L responsibility for large business units, and been a driver of cross-functional change projects, amongst others with focus on sales effectiveness and yield management. He is an accomplished Process Excellence practitioner and experienced leader of Lean/Six Sigma driven change projects. He has also been involved in a number of large-scale acquisitions and mergers, and knows what it takes to integrate people and cultures.
